2) 340° Field of Vision: The eagles have fantastic eyesight. However, it’s still not the supreme! Among the avians, only the owls, along with the American woodcock have a 360° field of vision.
No matter how far the eagles can see, they don’t have 360° peripheral vision. Instead, they have fixed eye sockets that are at a 30° angle with the midline of their face.
The 340° field of vision is enough for them to see a white rabbit in the white snow two miles away.
3) Monocular & Binocular Visions:
Only a few animals have both monocular and binocular vision. A significant number of reptiles including the chameleons, have both monocular and binocular vision.
